RAGGA NYC is proud to partner with Ace Hotel Brooklyn for a summer residency that is the blooming of a beautiful partnership! For this residency RAGGA NYC has tapped some RAGGA NYC family members and cousins of the RAGGA NYC community to bring some vibes to the Ace Hotel Brooklyn lobby every Friday in July to September! With RAGGA NYC family staples like the artist Viva Ruiz @chocolatinaruiz going B2B with Savant for a set of beautiful sisterhood it’s gonna be a vibe. Come have a cocktail, catch up with the boos and sweat it out. We are also excited to expand and bring in a lot of young djs that we have had our eyes on for some time! Mellow Domingo @mellowdomingo, Kye @kyethedj and Totalxtc @totalxtc to name a few! See you there!

MellowDomingo is a New York based DJ originally from Washington DC, specializing in open-format showcasing an eclectic range of sub-genres. With their extensive taste in music they are equipped with mixing carefully crafted beats and the lyrics of your favorite artist to curate your exact preferred vibe. MellowDomingo like a chameleon, is able to DJ a wide-range of events from Corporate get-togethers to Clubs to Weddings. Some of their most notable sets include Nordstroms All Homage Release Party, Lanvin’s Private Shopping Event and High Snobietys Fashion Week Celebration.

DJ GazaTwin is a young black female who has grown tremendously throughout the years and is commonly known throughout New York. For the past 7 years, she has dedicated her time to studying music and expanding herself through one of her many hobbies, DeeJaying. Her journey started back in high school when her love for music was to great to put in words. She admired the way DJs can blend music so smoothly. Her friends heard how good she was in her backyard and got her very first gig in high school. DJ GazaTwin had spread very quickly in the neighborhood and within a few years, she was performing for local businesses and major events internationally.

Viva Ruiz aka dj Chocolatina b2b Savant
Viva Ruiz shethey is the Latinx progeny of Ecuadorian immigrants and a community and sex work educated advocate and multi hyphenate artist from Jamaica Queens, New York. Ruiz is building power and birthing pro-abortion propaganda with the Thank God for Abortion (TGFA) initiative whose mission sits at the intersection of abortion access, queerness and spirituality. S/he stands on the shoulders of many, eager to celebrate and be in service to the spirits that love and walk with them./ Savant Laurent is a SF born NYC based artist & entrepreneur. Her roots stem from gospel music into theatre & dance into modeling into DJing. Savant sang at the 2009 presidential inauguration Savant, and she has done modeling campaigns for Nike. She has even performed at SF war memorial opera house in La Boheme & Madame butterfly. Savant is a dreamer who can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. Her ambition and her dream like mindset can be felt in her DJ sets. She has been described as a “Big room” DJ & likes to take listeners on a journey with her through playing songs that stick to a theme that immulate different scenarios we find ourselves in in life. She is one to watch as there is no saying where she will go next.

Total XTC
Total XTC is an afro-Dominican DJ and producer originally from The Bronx, NYC. His sets and productions explore Caribbean rhythms within electronic soundscapes. He's also the founder of NYC based dance party 'Body Journey', which is a party meant to center BIPOC queer/trans DJs. Total XTC is passionate about using nightlife to promote collective healing & shift, and has also been a part of and organized fundraiser events for various organizations supporting queer + trans people in NYC, Colombia, and most recently Haiti. Total XTC has played regularly in NYC and has also been fortunate enough to bring his sound internationally, further growing his craft and passion for music as a method of storytelling, healing and collective growth.

KYE is a queer, Jamaican DJ, promoter and events curator who is on a mission to fill more spaces with dancehall music. She is also the creator of Out N Bad, TGIF, a monthly QTPOC party, and Superhype, a curated list of QTPOC events in NYC.

Colombia-born, Miami-bred DJ and muse Sausha De La Ossa is New York night life's most alluring fixture. The 25-year-old's sets — blending dark techno, ambient, and sexy Latin club — have come to define the emergent underground, the downtown it-girl’s ability to remain unbothered in a culture so fixated on followers makes watching her every move virtually irresistible.

Delilah At Night
Raised in the bass-booming forests of northern California and refined in New York City's queer underground, Delilah At Night is an emerging DJ and freelance writer based in Brooklyn. Her sound runs the gamut from house, club, and experimental ballroom to UK garage and dubstep, all laced with beloved hooks and hard femme energy. Her work on queer and trans culture has been published in Rolling Stone, Resident Advisor, Slate, and more. She is currently co-creating HANSeL/GReTeL, an immersive performance-party which retells the classic fairytale within a night out at the club.

Kaysy Gotay also known as Young Wavy Fox is a DJ, producer & entrepreneur based in NYC. Her Afro-LatinX roots exudes in her eclectic music selection. She uses the art of DJing to express the multifarious dimensions of her creativity and personality. Wavy's smooth groove has made her the go to DJ for major art events. She recently curated the sounds for Kehinde Wiley, Mickalene Thomas & Naomi Campbell’s events. She also has DJ’d events at The MET, Brooklyn Museum , Bass Museum, and MoMA PS1. Wavy's fashion sense and DJ skills landed her features in publications such as VOGUE, Essence, ELLE UK, Time Out , ART News, WWD, Huffington Post , Coveteur + More.
